Much mystery surrounds Leonardo  da Vinci's Mona Lisa, making it a perfect subject for a rather moody mixed media piece.  Aluminum makes the background quite textured with metallic lights and darks which keep the viewer's eyes moving around the art, and yet the eye always circles back to Mona Lisa's own mysterious eyes.
